Third Czech title in a row
Defending a title once can be form. Defending it twice can be luck. But three times in a row? That's no longer chance — that's a system.
This year I took the Czech Half Ironman title for the third time in a row — 2024, 2025 and 2026. “Three times in a row” sounds like a line for a CV. For me it's mainly proof of one thing I put into all my training and all my work with clients: consistency beats a one-off performance.

Why “in a row” means more
Plenty of people can win a single race. The day comes together, form lands, the weather holds. But top sport isn't played over one day — it's played over years. Three titles in a row mean I managed to reach form at the right time again each season, hold the pressure again and deliver again when it counted. And that's the hardest part.
Form lasts a few weeks. A system lasts all year.
Behind each of those three titles there are no miracles and no shortcuts. There is focus, consistency and discipline — the three pillars I build every plan on, whether it's for me or for clients at WOHLMACHINE. Hundreds of hours in the pool, on the bike and in running shoes. Data that doesn't lie. And a head that knows why it's all being done.
Train the System. Not the Ego.
The most common mistake I see in athletes is training by mood and ego — I'll go hard today because I feel good, I'll ease off tomorrow because my legs hurt. But the body doesn't grow from peak days, it grows from repeated, honest work. From the weeks and months when you do the right thing even when you don't feel like it.
Three titles in a row are, for me, confirmation that this approach works. Not because I'm the most talented — but because I was the most consistent. And consistency can be learned. That's exactly what I do with the people I coach: I don't throw random workouts at them, I build them a system that takes them to the goal step by step.
Thank you
None of these titles happened on their own. Thanks go to the whole team around me, to my partners — led by title partner Walzym — and to everyone rooting for me. Without the support I have, the system would have nothing to stand on.
And now? Rest, review the data and start building the fourth. Because as I like to say — the best race is always the next one.
